Swivel Foundation’s main focus is the empowerment of disenfranchised communities. We aim to provide the infrastructure and resources so that they are able to help themselves.
Operating under the parable: “If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. If you teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime,” Swivel Foundation strives to give back to the community that provides us with the tech talent who underscore our corporation.
In past outreach programmes, we have provided over 10,000+ meals to communities across Sri Lanka, helping to mitigate the immediate food and economic crisis that has hit the island.
We also visited a local boys’ home, donating meals and the technological equipment they need to further their education. The growth of the country’s youth into self-sustained individuals that will contribute to the socio-economic growth of Sri Lanka is one of our core missions.
